Lost and Found (Ongoing...)

"Lost and Found" is a visual prayer—an intimate dialogue between myself and the divine. Created during my time in Lacoste, France, this series of self-portraits reflects my search for clarity, guidance, and surrender. Each image serves as a moment of reaching out, an appeal for direction in the midst of uncertainty.

Photographed entirely on film, the process itself mirrors the patience and faith required in self-discovery. The shutter release cable, visible in every frame, acts as both a tether and an offering—connecting me to the work and inviting the viewer into this deeply personal journey. The uniform I wear—blue boots, denim, and a white tee—is a subtle nod to my Texas roots, grounding me as I navigate the unknown.

Accompanying these images are excerpts from my personal journal, written in moments of searching and surrender. This project does not seek resolution but rather embraces the tension between longing and trust, seeking and surrendering. In "Lost and Found," I open a space for reflection, inviting the viewer to step into the quiet moments of questioning, waiting, and faith.
